Motorhome Friendly Destinations
There are many places in the UK and Europe to explore on bikes, be it little towns and villages or for the more adventurous, mountain biking in the Highlands of Scotland.
Staying in hotels close to amusement parks can be extremely expensive, especially if you are taking the whole family along. It’s also useful to be able to take ‘time out’ during the day to let the children have a sleep. Why not try one of our motor homes instead?
Suggestions:
Alton Towers, Staffordshire
Britain’s most popular theme park with over 100 rides including ‘Oblivion’, the world’s first vertical drop rollercoaster.
Disneyland Paris
A short trip across the channel, either by ferry or Eurotunnel, and then a scenic drive across France to the capital, Paris. Disneyland Paris has all the magic you would expect from Disney, with lots of rides and attractions to amaze the whole family.
Ski Fields of Europe
All motor homes are fully winterised and designed to be completely self sufficient. Hot water, central heating and running water, all without the need for dedicated amenities. The vans have ample storage space for ski gear, and a good sized seating area for meals and a beer.
If you are planning to visit the UK or Europe, traveling via motor home is an excellent way to see the sights. All motor homes are right-hand drive and comply with all European regulations. The motor homes offer a base for your belongings and your itinerary can be as flexible as you want it to be. You won’t need to eat in restaurants all the time, because you can stock up the fridge and eat what and when you want.
We can help you plan and book your trip while you are here in the UK or arrange it over the phone/email from your home country.
Suggestions:
Tour to Oxford, Bath & Salisbury
Visit the famous Bodleian library in the university city of Oxford; take in the magnificent gardens at Blenheim Palace, designed by
18th Century master gardener, Capability Brown and then visit the Roman town of Bath with its very own hot springs. Also in the region is Glastonbury and Stonehenge.
Food & wine tours
For example, why not plan a wine tasting tour around the different wine regions of France or visit the different distilleries in Scotland.
Special events
Do you want to go to your favourite sporting event but all the hotels are booked or over priced? We offer special weekend rates, so you and your friends can be close to the action. So if it’s the British Grand Prix, Royal Ascot, the Tour de France or Cowes Week that takes your fancy, we help you get there.
Whether you are a serious hill walker or a more casual stroller, being able to see the countryside and come back to a warm and comfortable ‘home’ is a great way to spend a holiday. Our motor homes are fully equipped and self sufficient. They can sleep up to six people and have full bathroom facilities including loo and shower. So if it’s the Cotswold Way, Hadrian’s Wall or the Munroes that takes your fancy, our motor homes can help you on your way.
The nature of climbing means that sites are often in very remote parts of the country and accommodation can be sparse. Our motor homes are fully self-sufficient – you don’t need to be in a campsite for the heating or gas to work! There is lots of storage space for equipment and because the motor homes can sleep up to six people, you can go with family and friends.
